Rental licensing in Lakeville

Rental registration required

Lakeville requires one-time rental registration for long-term rentals (32 days or more), including single-family homes. There are no city inspections. Owners designate a Minnesota-based rental manager and confirm they use written leases, tenant background checks, and a drug-free/crime-free lease addendum.

For the homes we manage, we take care of the city's licensing or registration steps and keep owners compliant as the rules change.
