About St. Louis Park

Much of St. Louis Park's housing was built in a burst of construction from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. Westwood Hills Nature Center, on West Franklin Avenue, is a natural area of marsh, woods and restored prairie with trails open year-round. Public schools in the city are part of the St. Louis Park School District (ISD 283).

Rental licensing in St. Louis Park

Rental license required

St. Louis Park requires a rental license for any home that isn't owner-occupied, including single-family homes and townhomes. Before a license is issued, the owner or property manager must complete the city's residential rental training, with a refresher every three years; a temporary six-month license is available while training is completed.

For the homes we manage, we take care of the city's licensing or registration steps and keep owners compliant as the rules change.

Rate lock: Sign a management agreement by December 31, 2026, and your monthly management fee for that home ($99 for your first home, $79 for each additional home) won't go up for as long as that agreement stays in effect. A vacancy doesn't end it. Cancelling the agreement or selling the home does.
